We visited our partner, leading bending machine manufacturer Numalliance, to find out more about how they’ve integrated our TubeInspect system within their new completely automated tube and wire inspection solution.
The high-speed camera technology of our TubeInspect HRC models is perfectly suited to automation integration projects, and when combined with a suitable robot can deliver a system with the capacity to run a 100% tube inspection process on a 24/7 basis.
A system like this allows bent tube manufacturers to absolutely guarantee the quality of their entire production runs without increased process time or the need for the expensive storage and maintenance of a large number of complex fixtures.
Correction feedback to the bending machine is built into the BendingStudio XT software on which the TubeInspect runs, meaning when an out of tolerance tube is detected, the production machine is immediately adjusted and material scrap is reduced to a minimum.
