Welcome to another trip report! In this video, we travel from East Midlands to Naples, on a TUI Airways Boeing 737. I have flown on many of these before, but this is my first time doing a trip report on one. This video starts in East Midlands' departure area waiting for a bit too take us to the aircraft, G-FDZR, where we arrived so late that we couldn't even get a drink before the flight as it started boarding while we were queuing! The reason for this was because there were multiple sets of roadworks along the route, we couldn't use the motorway and had to use 2 diversions, and struggled to get into the car park.
Anyway, in terms of the flight, it was a great one as usual with TUI, no major issues, and the food we bought onboard was very nice, probably because I'd eaten very little beforehand with it being early in the morning. Our departure time was 06:30 and we were pretty much on time.
After a pleasant flight, we had to hold for quite a while around Naples Airport, which was fine as we were in no rush and were slightly early anyway. Also, it offered amazing views of the region surrounding Naples from above, including the active volcano Mount Vesuvius, which we actually went to the top of while there. Overall it was a more than satisfactory trip with no issues throughout; the flight attendants were friendly, food was good, and everything worked to schedule.
