Myanmar's election is being seen as a chance for another step towards democracy. The National League for Democracy - the party of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi - is widely expected to win Sunday's poll. President Thein Sein says the government and the military will respect the result. Military leaders partially handed over power to a civilian government in 2011. However, the military still wields a great deal of power. The constitution says 25 percent of the seats in parliament are reserved for the military. So, is Myanmar really on a path to democracy?
