►Whether you just purchased your first set of wheel studs, or it's time to replace your old ones, there is only one correct way of installing them, and it's often referred to as the "double nut" method.
Although many wheel studs accept hex keys to tighten them into the wheel hub, this isn't the correct method. The new style of wheel studs that we sell from Motorsports Hardware don't feature a hex head and require you to use the double nut method to tighten them to their torque specification.
In this video, Gareth Foley shows us how to install screw-in wheel studs using the double nut method on his very own BMW E92 M3.
