The inner wires of a power cord sometimes break due to fatigue caused by repeated bending stresses during use or due to a strong stress exerted by the foot of a heavy desk, which may lead to an incident shown in the reenactment video. Inner wires of a power cord can break, which is not noticeable from the external appearance of the cord unless using an X-ray camera as shown in the figure.
