There is a stark contrast between the way Donald Trump housed the national guard troops – who were used as “political theatre” by Nancy Pelosi – and the way the Biden administration has, according to Rita Panahi.
Images have emerged of 5000 national guard troops - who were sent in to supposedly protect the Capitol during the inauguration - being kept in an underground car park with minimal toilets and other facilities.
In contrast, Donald Trump opened his five-star hotel for some troops to stay whilst being deployed in Washington DC.
Ms Panahi said the national guard troops were clearly used by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to give the “impression that the Capitol was under siege”.
“The only violent protests that occurred during inauguration were the usual lot – Antifa – attacking businesses and police stations,” she said.
Sky News host James Morrow said this is all part of a “show of strength and security theatre” which will continue to be used as a new “crack down on what they call domestic terrorists.”
