Malaysian in Singapore seeking advice to retire back in Malaysia,
like Calvin here said: As a Malaysian, I’d like to know what are the steps I need to take in order to prepare for retirement/moving back to Malaysia one day. I have several investment and business plan in Malaysia & overseas, would like to get your professional advice to help me prepare better for the next 10-15 years
Some may wonder why don’t not all Malaysians who are doing well in Singapore just convert to Singapore citizenship and give up on Malaysian citizenship?
Well, turns out, this is what some Singaporeans said in an earlier clip I posted Like this - I’m half Singaporean half Malaysian. And yes Singapore like too over hype about everything which sometimes creating things that is not true like having the best food, chicken rice perhaps? Best tourist spot etc but real truth is Malaysia is way way better
Or Yang said - Myself Singaporean guy living in Johor, and finds living in Johor is better than living in Singapore. I do feel freedom not only in law but I do feel I’m a human than a robot living under the control of Starnet. Young work, pay and pay, old age work, pay and pay
Or this - Singaporean residing in M’sia for more than 25 years, Spent more time of my life in Malaysia than Singapore that I find it hard to stay longer than 3 days when I return home. Malaysia is more relaxed, cancel culture is not popular here, mostly stress free, and yes we are allowed to slow down. I am pleasantly obliged to call Malaysia my home now
Or even this - I was born and bred in Singapore. Honesty, without any bias, I prefer to socialize more with Malaysian because they are real, they don’t pretend to be someone they are not And this remark is the GOAT - Singapore is a Company, M’sia is a country, how to compare? #malaysianinsingapore #retireinmalaysia #retirementplanningmalaysia #financialplanningmalaysia
