On 3 June 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales attended a gala ballet performance of Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The Princess wore a beaded Jacques Azagury mini dress and shoes by Jimmy Choo, as well as a necklace of South Sea pearls reportedly gifted to her by Dodi Fayed. It was to be her last official event before her death in Paris just months later, on 31 August.
