Dense ruby core with a purple hue. The nose displays aromas of roasted oak, vanilla and allspice with jammed plum and dark berries. Rather ample palate, still a youthful texture with present tannin but no hard edges, spicy dark fruit, allspice and clove with some new oak and a fresh backbone. It has good length, grip and persistency but should deserve some more time in the cellar to soften and gain harmony.
