Today we took a boat out on to Inle Lake. We got up at 5am to see the sunrise over the lake which was INCREDIBLE, then toured the local floating villages and saw how they lotus silk. t
We were lucky enough to be able to witness the boat procession which is part of the Thadingyut festival here in Myanmar, which was really special.
We stopped off in Indein which houses the Shwe Indein Pagoda and the thousands of ancient stupas that surround it.
We had a delicious lunch on the river before heading back over the lake to our hotel.
