Honda CB 500 Four Cafe Racer
Bespoke custom bike - a Japanese classic brought into modern spirit.
The new front-end of a Honda CB400N, with modern brake discs, gives the nose of the bike more optical weight.
Together with the clip-ons, refurbished handlebar switches, new brake levers, small LSL brake fluid reservoir and the Acewell chrome speedometer the cockpit received the modern technology touch we were aiming for. Furthermore, the classic six-and-a-half-inch headlight emphasizes the front view and stance from all viewing angles. Finishing touch: 3D printed KASPEED MOTO logo badge on the upper tripple clamp
We made a custom seat cowl, integrated a classic round LED tail light and lifted the back of the gas tank by an inch and aligned the seat to it to create a perfectly straight and forward leaning lower tank line. The custom upholstery of the seat is a perfect match, including a beautiful diamond stitch pattern. Light brown genuine leather and a stitched logo were used by a local upholsterer. Matching the leather color are the brown rubber grips.
We managed to clean out the frame triangle completely. While we hid the electrical components under the seat, the lightweight lithium-ion battery was located under the cowl.
Paintwork in Silver Tempest (Bentley) with some fine golden details.
Frame and rims were powder-coated in black, while the wheels were laced with shiny stainless spokes and the engine repainted in matt black.
The four Keihin carbs have also been ultrasonic cleaned, restored, and re-jetted with the installed pod filters.
In addition the bike got: a 4-into-1 exhaust, new Continental ClassicAttack rubber, heat wrap and Motogadget indicators up front as well as Kellermann units in the back.
