Quercus macrolepis, the "Valonia Oak", (Arabic:سنديان فش) is a tree in the family Fagaceae. It is the "National tree" of Jordan respectively.

Geographical range:

It is found in the Balkans, and in the southern and eastern Mediterranean, including the Greek Islands, Turkey, Land of Israel, and Jordan and in the African nation of Morocco.
