We walk the downtown area of SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA to experience the small-town America vibe that is unique among Southern California beach communities. Compared to its neighboring beach cities -- Long Beach, Huntington, Newport, Laguna -- Seal Beach is unpretentious, laid-back, friendly, uncrowded, calm, and safe. It is a great alternative for both visitors and locals to enjoy the beach, pier, and town at a pace that's more relaxed and folksy than other beach communities. A diverse range of eating establishments line Main St. Lots of free on-street parking in addition to the pay lots near the pier.
