You have opted for our high performance rapid drying product, tarmac extreme screed. Extreme screed is a strong, high quality screed material, compatible with all common floor finishes and is available in a C40 compressive strength following 28 days curing time.
Fully underfloor heating compatible, tarmac ready to use screed is produced under computer controlled conditions by external batching plant and is then transferred to your site via haulage transportation on the day of installation.
Upon arrival at site the material remains workable for 8 hours, enabling us to provide reliable compaction throughout the screed. Uniform cement dispersion allows us to achieve greater compressive strength throughout the entire floor area.
Carrying significantly reduced drying times, rapid drying screeds achieve final strength development, much sooner than standard or quick curing screeds, allowing sites to accept light foot traffic within just 12 hours and full site traffic in only 1 day at 20 degrees ambiant temperature.
By incorporating proprietary additives within the material the product has excellent resistance to construction traffic, whilst also enabling early application of your floor finishes.
Directly guaranteed by Tarmac, Extreme screed does not require any post completion laitance removal via sanding of the screeded surface and readily lends itself to the formation of falls, in order to marry up to existing floor levels, differeing thresholds or bi fold doors.
