This is a thirteen part series about The Thirteen Articles of Faith. These articles of faith outline basic beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and were written by Joseph Smith in response to a newspaper editor who asked what members of the Church believe. The Second Article of Faith: "We believe men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgressions."
My name is Amber. I’m a twenty-something mother of two, an army wife, an unpublished poet, a Texas-girl, and I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents are converts, but I have not always been a practicing member. I believe I experienced what the scriptures describe as a “spiritual rebirth” and I am here to share with others what I have learned.
