Swar Eeshwar is an organisation specialising in the archiving and restoration of music. The institute is formed, organised and run by Girish Chandegra from the organisation’s origins in London. The archives started in 1978 and endeavours to archive and restore Gujarati and Hindi music compositions which were originally released in the form of prime record labels in India.
Swar Eeshwar works closely with the music heritage of TV and Radio channels around the world. In India it perserveres to archive material created by iconic and esteemed Music Dignitaries
C Ramchandra, Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Purshottam Upadhyay, Avinash Vyas, Gaurang Vyas, Dilip Dholakia, Ashit Desai, Shyamal Saumil, Rasiklal Bhojak and the likes of dignitaries in classical and light classical music.
Every Music Composer, every Music Writer (Poet) makes a prestigious difference to the Swar Eeshwar archiving academy and institute.
