When you visit the Mendocino Coast in California plan on a trip to the historical town of Fort Bragg. The Pudding Creek Trestle in Fort Bragg is a historic wooden bridge that spans over the picturesque Pudding Creek. Original built as a railway for hauling logs from the woods to the saw mill in Fort Bragg. It was converted to a roadway for Trucking logs and then in 2014 it was rehabilitated and is now a walking/bike path. There are awesome views of the Pacific Ocean and often whales can be spotted. Walk across the Pudding Creek Trestle and appreciate the history and beauty. Pudding Creek Beach is a white sand beach with occasional surfable waves. The bluffs around it have many hiking trails with awesome views and during the season beautiful wild flowers. Although the creek has spawning salmon and steelhead they are protected so no fishing. However the rocky bluffs provide great spots for rock fishing.
