Hey guys welcome to the first episode of the new series of Warhammer 40k: Dawn of war 2! This is a classic game from my childhood that I have wanted to play again for some time now. While we all wait for the release of the mortal empires map in Total War 3 and finish up with our Chaos Gate campaigns I figured something different might help keep things fresh.

For a game that was released in 2009 this game still holds up to todays standards. It looks great, plays great and has a fantastic WH 40k story.
We begin flying in a drop pod down to Calderis to help relieve an orc invasion. This planet serves as the Blood Ravens recruitment world and losing it to the orcs is just not an option. The first few missions are, as any game, a rough tutorial showing the basic mechanics but as the game progresses you get access to really cool abilities and gear such as Terminator armour and thunder-hammers.
