In this video, I headed up north to fish The Arbroath Winter Open and I finally, got amongst the cod doing a bit of rough ground fishing! All in all, it was a great event and I have to give a big shout-out to all the organizers and sponsors, without them these days would not be possible.
Baits of choice were WHA cod bombs and I was using my AnyFishAnywhere 6nBait rod paired with a Penn Rival reel.
I have to give a thanks to @fullcircleangling for his recent video showing the Trident Tackle aero pully.
I have been using Trident Tackle for a while now and used their original aero pulley but after some advice, I decided to switch my rigs to these new aero pulleys and I have to say I'm really impressed. I was having issues with line memory on the rig body but these new aero pulleys have eliminated that.
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the video. Apologies for a couple of sound issues with the wind noise, I had a bit of trouble with the mics but I'll work on that for next time.
