Ukraine's internet has proven to be extremely resilient in the face of the Russian Federation's brutal invasion. Despite regular attacks to Ukraine's digital infrastructure and targeted cyber attacks, the Ukrainian government and its internet service providers continue to keep the country connected and offer critical services to citizens. The resilience of Ukraine's digital infrastructure can be attributed to strategic investments that were made by the government with respect to both physical infrastructure and the creation of the Diia platform to connect its citizens. This session will explore Ukraine's investments and what other countries can learn to make their own internet infrastructure resilient to natural or artificial disasters.
