Ross Hauser, MD, and our wonderful patient, James, walk through the progression of treating his carpal tunnel syndrome which was still waking him up at night even after carpal tunnel surgery. His case is interesting because one of his wrists responded well to the surgery while the other one was worse after surgery. We were happy to help him avoid an additional and much more aggressive surgery on his neck! In our offices, we utilize non-surgical Nerve Release Injection Therapy, also known as hydrodissection. In cases like James, we also used some Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to promote nerve repair. Thus, we call it Nerve Release & Regeneration Injection Therapy. As you'll see, his nerve freed up and the swelling decreased within the first month. We were able to release him after only 2 treatments, after verifying under ultrasound that he was steadily progressing and the rest of the nerve healing was just a matter of time. James, we wish you continued great health and a full return to activities!
