The maestro from Mysore school of Veena, V Doreswamy Iyengar, has played compositions in raga Hamirkalyani and Bhairavi, followed by a Ghana Ragamalika Tanam. He has concluded the recording with a tillana in Kapi as homage to Mysore Seshanna, the shining star of Mysore school. The Kapi is played in slow and medium speeds to induce devotion and finds its corresponding tune in Hindustani music, in raag pilu.
