I started making this video 3 days after my dad passed away. Throughout my life, making vides has been a way to organize and process big life events. My Dad was always the first person to like a post or give me a call to talk about a video I made. He's really the only one I wish could see this.

The real kicker is he didn't want a funeral, he didn't want anyone to know about any of this stuff going in in his life. But about a year ago I approached him with the idea to make a video about his life and is experience going through this cancer diagnosis. He initially said no, but 6 months later he said "Id like to make that video."

Every time we tried to get together to film an interview, a Drs appointment would come up, or he'd cancel to pick up some dogs. Eventually, we just ran out of time.

So this is a quarter of that video idea of his life, a quarter of how I saw my dad, a quarter therapy, and a quarter letting people know who cared about him that be passed away.
