My favorite thing to do in Bonsai is to create one!
I gave the Powder Puff a brushing with a brass wire brush and gave her a new apex while trimming all the other branches.
I always prep my pot first then start taking the tree out of its pot.
I used a quarter inch rock at the bottom then soil media on top to prepare for tree. After trimming roots I put in tree. Fill in with dirt and press in with chopstick. Add moss or lichen then top rock.
Finding the pink chameleon in my goody bag of decorations was great! I had forgotten I had it. It fits on the tree so perfectly!
My grand daughter will love it! She is 4.
So much fun!
