Study after Bouguereau’s Portrait of Gabrielle Cot. At this point I was using a more simplified version of the Warm-Cool Palette as a starting point for the skin tones (Free Mixing Guide: [ Ссылка ] ) plus strings of alizarin crimson & yellow ochre to modify the hue as needed (and occasionally ultramarine blue).
