From 5 pull-ups to 21 pull-ups in 2 years of Consistent & Disciplined Weight-lifting.
THE PROGRAM:
Set 1: maximum pull-ups possible + 3 mins rest
Aggregate: 3 mins, 30 seconds.
Set 2: Again maximum pull-ups + 2 mins rest
Aggregate: 6 mins seconds.
Set 3: Last set;
Aggregate: 6 mins 30 seconds.

My program for Beginners & more Advanced trainees;
R: Rest (time you spend resting in between sets)
* Rest times are usually 60, 120, or 180 Seconds.
W: Workout (time you spend actually working the set)
* 10 pull-ups take ~15-20 Seconds to perform.
* 20 pull-ups take ~40
For strength purposes; rest 180 Seconds. (the advanced can rest less; 120 seconds).
Caution;
This intense training phase should not last longer than 20-30 days because it needs an immense amount of recovery.
It boils down to Passion; How much you're a Savage vs 'average'.
