Proactively caring for enteral nutrition (EN) patients.
Older adults are more likely to experience malnutrition. Malnutrition is associated with higher mortality rates and longer hospital stays(1). Using the TubeClear system proactively can help maintain feeding tube flow(2), ensuring EN patients receive the medication, nutrition and hydration they need to fight infection and stay healthy.
Minimizing time spent on hardware issues such as clogged feeding tubes(3), allows clinicians time to focus on patient care. Using the TubeClear system proactively, may keep tubes fully open enabling optimal enteral therapy (medication, nutrition and hydration) delivery.
