I bought this power supply in May 2009.
It's now more than 7 years old and the fan is making noises (5 years warranty expired).
It is still working, and to throw it away is such a waste.
What should I do?
1) buy a new PSU
2) replace the fan (will be hard to find a replacement fan)
3) plug the fan straight into the 12v and hope the noise disappears
4) solder a POT between 12v and the fan to adjust the rpm
5) buy better headphones and ignore the sound
I also tried to contact Cooler Master support via phone, but I don't get a connection ( +31 (0) 77-396-8226 ).
