Leo performs this famous work by Schubert with unusual confidence & conviction. He recorded this himself in the gymnasium of Westover Community School in North Vancouver. Franz Schubert is my favorite romantic era composer who died at the tragically young age of 31. His father wanted him to be a school teacher, but fortunately for us, he chose the life of a "bohemian artist" despite its accompanying poverty. After his death, the sum of his assets didn't even cover the costs of his funeral...the paradox of greatness.
