A gifted film star Iain Glen was born in Scotland, where he studied in a Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He debuted on a big screen in the year 1986, having appeared in a TV program called Taggard.
He became a recognized film performer only in early 2000s, whereas worldwide recognition came to him in 2011, after he featured in Game of Thrones, which remains to be one of his most successful roles.
