Bietola con patate
Ingredients:
5 lbs of bietola (Swiss chard) picked from my garden
4 medium potatoes diced
2 cloves of garlic
Pinch of chili flakes
4 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Wash and cut your Swiss chard and put it on the side.
Prepare a large pot of salted water and bring to boil; once boiling add your diced potatoes. Allow the potatoes to cook for ten minutes then add your Swiss chard in the same pot and let finish cooking together.
Prepare your large pan and add olive oil, crushed garlic and chilli flakes. Allow to simmer for a couple of minutes then add Swiss chard and potatoes to your hot pan. Stir and salt to taste. Enjoy !!
