Ingredients :

For 1 cup of Coriander seeds I used half cup dry ginger. Whole dry ginger can also be replaced with ginger powder. Add extra ginger powder if you prefer. I have used palm Jaggery. Any sweetner of choice can be used.

Coriander seeds : 1 cup or 100 grams .
Dry ginger : Half pounded or 50 grams .
Long pepper : 6
Long pepper roots : 3
Black pepper : 1 TBSP
Cardamom : 1 (optional)
Sweetner of choice.

Recipe Story :
Hand pound the whole dry ginger and keep it ready. Dry roast the long peppers black pepper and cardomom if using. Switch off the flame. This is very important for roasting coriander seeds. It should just get hot. Don't over roast it. Grind the roasted spices along with the dry ginger. Store it in a air tight container.

The coffee story.
For two cups of the coffee :
Dissolve around one table of palm Jaggery in two cups of water. Heat it and once the water is hot add in the powder you have made. Bring it to rolling boil once. Switch off. Filter and have it.
My style of having this particular drink is along with filter coffee decoction. I took around three tablespoon of decoction to a glass and filtered the drink to it.

Any sweetner of choice can be used. If using honey, add in the powder to the plain water and bring to rolling boil. Filter and then add honey.
