This is the official song for the Children's Climate Conference, which takes place in Södertälje 25 -28th of November 2015 and gather children from all over the world. The purpose of the meeting is to give the children a voice in the climate debate and put pressure on the world leaders to come to an agreement in Paris (COP21).
"The Next Generation Calls" is performed by Mariette and written by her together with Melanie Wehbe and Elias Näslin. They wrote the song with this background and also has a strong personal commitment to the climate issue.
All sales proceeds will go to the charity cause ”Musikhjälpen”, which this year has the theme "No one should have to escape the climate".
