Trip-report | ঢাকা থেকে রাজশাহী | Dhaka to Rajshahi | Biman Bangladesh Airlines
It was an EID flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Biman operates very few flights to Rajshahi but during EID Biman usually operates more flights than normal time. We were lucky to get Biman's ticket for about 19000BDT whereas NovoAir and USBangla tickets were above 25K BDT on the day I purchased the ticket.
UCB lounge- We use this lounge as we were fasted very recently UCB changed the rule. One person is only allowed with a cardholder. The supplementary cardholder has no right to use the lounge if the main cardholder is with him/her.
Pros:
1. Biman's pilot was good although the landing was hard.
2. For the first time, I saw an automatic loader used in the domestic sector.
3. Borading was quick and hassle-free.
4. Aircraft noise is low compared to their older Q-400.
Cons:
1. Dhaka to Rajshahi flight was okay but 20 minutes delayed without any clearifications and the luggage delivery at Rajshahi airport was very slow.
2. Some of the Biman ground staff are not helpful or customer-friendly.
3. Biman's new Q-400, S2-AKD aircraft was not well maintained or not cleaned properly.
4. The food was not warm or tasty.
5. Luggage delivery was very slow.
