The Magdalenians lived in south-west France 20,000 years ago. They created the famous wall paintings on cave walls for example, at Lascaux. In this short play a Magdalenian man finds himself time-travelled to the year 2050 to the office of a Professor of Anthropology who is an expert in that culture. She has a marvellous chance to question him on their lives , which previously she could only guess at through artefacts found in those caves thousands of years later. They compare notes, he does not like much like the future.
