Cancer patients in Mpumalanga have welcomed the construction of an oncology section at Rob Ferreira hospital. They hope the facility will increase their access to treatment and medication. Cancer patients hope the facility will mean they no longer have to travel to Pretoria and Johannesburg for treatment. Patients have also appealed to medical aid companies to pay for their treatment as it's expensive, some are currently refusing to do so.
