We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the 4th Annual Supplier Diversity Conference, an initiative by the PACE Business Development Center, supported by the Los Angeles MBDA Business Center, GO-Biz program, and the US Small Business Administration (SBA). This event, designed to empower small businesses with valuable strategies and resources, brought together over 150 participants in Rosemead, CA.
Kelly LoBianco, director of the Los Angeles County Economic Opportunity Agency, Julie Clowes, director of the SBA's Los Angeles office, and Kerry Doi, President of the Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE), were among the key speakers who emphasized the tremendous opportunities available for small businesses in securing contracts worth billions of dollars from government agencies, utilities, and private companies.
We at PACE, a non-profit organization aimed at developing sustainable businesses and managing personal finances in our communities, are proud to have co-organized this event along with LA-MBDA Business Center and GO-Biz. Together, we are committed to supporting Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) in building their capacity to promote and secure new opportunities in Southern California.
Since 1976, PACE has been serving the Los Angeles area by creating economic solutions to various challenges faced by the Asia Pacific and other diverse communities. Today, our services have expanded to include a range of community economic development programs that have guided over 1.35 million men, women, children, and families.
Thank you to all the participants, speakers, and organizers who made this event a success. Together, we are advancing the wealth of our communities and making a positive impact on local job creation and economic strength. #SupplierDiversity #SmallBusiness #CommunityDevelopment #PACE #LA
