Nearly 1,000 people rallied in downtown Asheville on Saturday. They were protesting GMO's and Monsanto. Monsanto is one of the world's largest seed-producing companies. This was one of hundereds of protests held around the country. Monsanto tells ABC news that they respect people's right to have an oppinion but stand behind the product they sell. A similar protest will be held on Tuesay in Pritchard Park.
