A virus decimating Earth's plants prompts a desperate search for solutions. The discovery of an ancient alien warp drive and sphere offers a glimmer of hope. Believed to be a terraforming tool from extraterrestrial visitors billions of years ago, Steve Ross spearheads Project Gemini to travel to a distant star system using the drive. Their mission: establish Earth Two by activating the sphere on a new planet. However, upon entering warp, they are diverted to an unknown location. Despite the unfamiliar terrain, they decide to deploy the sphere. Unexpectedly, a creature from the sphere emerges, with a menacing agenda.
