Fishing kayaks are insanely expensive, and for good reason! But I wanted to know if I could make a cheap used kayak work, lets see how it goes...
I bought this kayak second hand off Kijiji for $50, what a steal right? it is really small and light, which is great for hauling it around, but I'm not so sure it will be a great performer for pond fishing.
I took it down for a test at Westminister Ponds, here is London, Ontario. A place where I know for a fact there are large mouth bass and sun fish, so I least I don't have to wonder if it's me, the kayak or the fish - they are there, lol.
