This piece was created after I had to lay to rest my 8 year old Yorkshire terrier...she had a fast growing breast cancer and I felt the surgery was very invasive for a less than 5 pound little girl...with the help of the emergency veterinarian she was on Prednisone and was able to live a happy month at one point the tumor even got smaller, but then it just started growing agin...but she was happy and jumping and playing and barking at the mailman for quite a while until the time came to let her rest in peace...John and I held her and I kissed her softly as she took her last breath December 15 2024...where she went to Rainbow Bridge and will await us with my other beautiful pets all waiting for us together...pet grief is real and if you need help seek it please.

When using pigments please wear a respirator the particles are so minute you don't see them but they are in the air as soon as you open the jar and go into your lungs and over time will cause respiratory problems and more...

Safety in the Art Room
Keep a fire extinguisher close by when using your torch or any open flame, read manufacturer's instructions and keep a folder with all directions in a place you can easily find if you need it.
Be sure to follow the instructions given by the manufacturer when using any product in your art supply.
Some products require the use of a respirator, be aware of what they are and for what you should use one for.
