The Home Care Programme of the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina is based on the genuine need to provide home care services to the most vulnerable categories of the population: the elderly, sick, physically weak, and persons with special needs who live in isolation without close relatives.
Besides visits and conversations with home care beneficiaries, other good quality services are also being provided by volunteers, such as taking care of personal hygiene and hygiene of the house for immobile beneficiaries, preparation of meals, transport to medical institutions, as well distribution of basic items (food, hygienic products, diapers for adults).
