Creative consultant, Michelle Lao, is no stranger to design. Fashion, furniture and art intersect in her condo unit with pieces from Fritz Hansen, Selena Placino and custom pieces from Lamana. Her art collection is a wide spectrum of contemporary Filipino artists such as Marc Aran Reyes, Bjorn Calleja, and Rinne Abrugena. Lao also has a whole wall dedicated to her hat collection. She appreciates good design and believes that it can change your mood and inspire you.
During the pandemic, she started Solano Lamps where she sells lamps she designed. "These lamps are an extension of me. When you look at them, it's like you're looking at me," Lao says.
