Former ISRO chief AS Kiran Kumar on Sunday said that the Chandrayaan-2 mission is ready for its launch on July 22. "There was a shortcoming discovered in one of the tests and that has been rectified," Kumar said. ISRO's first take off had to be called off with 56 minutes to go, due to a technical glitch. Chandrayaan-2 will be the first ever mission in the world to explore the Moon's South Pole.
