For this video I have colourised around 50 vintage/antique black and white photos that were taken on the Giza Plateau, of the pyramids and the Sphinx, between 1867 and 1933.
The pictures were colourised using AI software. You will see a number of views from outside the Great Pyramid, from inside and also views from the top. Then we look at pictures from the Sphinx enclosure, before restoration was done, including some pictures from early 20th century restoration.
As you'll see, some pictures have turned out better than others but I've included the entire set because even those not so good do show a few good details.
