Story time! Only some people may know this, but our most viral video featuring our shifter demo rig was actually posted by accident. We had a draft saved with a full clip comparing shifts through gears 1-6 between the OEM shifter and our adjustable performance short shifter. But instead of posting the whole clip, only the segment showing the "wiggle" comparison got posted.
Since the video started gaining traction immediately, we didn’t think much of the mistake and just left it up as it was. Little did we know, the "wiggle" video would become our most viral post to date! We also didn’t anticipate the confusion around the "wiggle." Our intention was simply to show the difference in slop/play between our shifters and OEM shifters when in gear and in neutral. What we didn’t expect was that so many people would think our shifters’ lack of play meant you couldn’t "wiggle" the shifter side to side to check if it’s in gear or neutral. That's not true whatsoever, and you can still wiggle the shifter once enough lateral force is applied to overcome the centering spring, and we promise the lack in slop/play won't take away from the manual shifting experience adored by car enthusiasts. Still don't believe us? Just ask any of the thousands of customers that own our short shifters, they'll vouch for us 😁
TLDR: YOU CAN STILL WIGGLE OUR SHIFTERS. Don't knock it until you try it :).
