Film maker Richard DeDomenici - described as 'uniquely absurd' for his fun, low budget remakes of blockbuster film classics in original locations, like Superman - is turning his focus on Sheffield...for a live, audience participation recreation of classic 1984 TV nuclear bomb attack drama Threads, as part of the city's 25th anniversary Sheffield Doc Fest 2018.
He will film, edit and screen it during the festival, June 7 to 12 and today appealed for your help to find original locations, locals wanting to be extras, any pyrotechnics experts or those about to demolish buildings in the city. Otherwise he's stuck with Lego bricks.
