This video depicts a 1966 FJ45 Toyota Land Cruiser, restored and customized by TLC, the nations leading Land Cruiser specialists. The goal of this truck was to maintain a stock appearance, yet to integrate a modern drivetrain to enhance drivability. So we built it with an International 2.8 turbo diesel with a variable vane Garrett turbo, mated to the Toyota H55F five speed transmission and transfer case. Axles came from an FJ62. Old Man Emu suspension system. They were fully rebuilt and the track width shortened to the stock FJ45 specification. Power steering, modern MP3 based audio system, and much more.
