The iconic Lata Chowk in the heart of Ayodhya city is turning out to be a major tourist attraction ahead of the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22nd.
Located at the intersection of Ram Path and Dharam Path, the roundabout has a 40 feet long and 12 feet high veena, the traditional Indian musical instrument, installed in the centre with a picture of Saraswati, the goddess of music engraved on it.
The beautification of the roundabout was part of a large scale development plan for Ayodhya undertaken ahead of the construction of the Ram Temple.
