Activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, youth wing of BJP, clashed with police on Monday during their protest over law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.
The protesters gathered in front of state assembly while it was in session and tried to march towards the assembly building, forcing cops to lathicharge and use tear gas shells.
